Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

At AgentSpotlight.co, we are committed to safeguarding your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle your personal data when you use our website and informs you of your privacy rights and legal protections.

1. Important Information and Who We Are

Purpose of This Privacy Policy

This policy aims to inform you how AgentSpotlight.co collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal data, including data received through Google services, when you sign up, log in with Google, or post reviews. We describe our practices regarding the data obtained from Google APIs and ensure our use is consistent with the disclosures in this policy.

Property requests and matching

AgentSpotlight helps users submit property-related requests and discover property agents who may be relevant to their needs. We do not represent users, market properties, negotiate transactions, or act as an estate agent.

Controller

AgentSpotlight.co is the controller and responsible for your personal data.

2. The Data We Collect About You

  • Identity Data: Includes names and usernames provided directly by you or through Google login.
  • Contact Data: Email address obtained from Google profiles.
  • Usage Data: Information on how you use our website, services, and any data received through Google APIs.
  • Marketing and Communications Data: Your preferences in receiving marketing from us and third parties.

Note: For details on data collected by Google, refer to Google's privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your data in a lawful manner, primarily for contract fulfillment, based on legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and with your consent where applicable. This includes using your Google user data to streamline login processes and personalize your experience.

4. Data Security

We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data, including data obtained from Google, from being accidentally lost, used, accessed, altered, or disclosed without authorization.

5. Data Retention

Your personal data, including data received from Google, is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

6. Your Legal Rights

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, such as access, correction, erasure, and the right to object to processing.

8. Digital Bulletin engagement and advertising

We measure Bulletin impressions, visible views, post-page visits, sharing actions and contact clicks to help agents understand engagement. Random analytics session identifiers renew after 30 minutes of inactivity. Reports use Singapore calendar dates and show aggregate activity, not visitor identities or confirmed enquiries.

New reporting stores hashed session identifiers for deduplication for approximately 35 days and aggregate counts for 13 months. It does not store raw IP addresses or use device fingerprinting. Traffic sources use sharing parameters and referrers; unavailable sources remain unknown. Existing account and service analytics described elsewhere in this policy remain separate.

If personalised Bulletin content is enabled, property preferences are optional and can be changed or removed. Personalised recommendations and personalised sponsored posts have separate opt-in controls, both off by default. You can withdraw either choice and continue browsing the general Bulletin. Neither choice subscribes you to direct marketing messages. Advertising agents receive aggregate reports, not your preferences, identity, browsing history or contact details. We do not infer your residential neighbourhood from IP addresses or request GPS for this feature.
